fyfps: With the unveiling of the Xbox One (which is a fucking stupid name by the way) I can officially say that I’m not looking for to dropping $500 of my hard earned cash on either of the Big Two Gaming Consoles. Maybe I’ve been gaming to long but both reveals seemed very uninspired. Some of my favorite franchises have been ran into the ground all for the sake of a dollar (Gears, Halo, God of War). Social media is being tied into the next generation of gaming at an absurd level. I already have a cable box to watch television on but Microsoft feels that I “need” their box for this now. Oh yea.. and who in the fuck thought that Kinect and Smartglass were fun? Sony is trying its damnedest to hawk it PSVita, which besides shiny graphics has nothing gamewise going for it. …. Shit. I forgot about the Wii U. The fucking thing has been out, what, six months? And no one gives a flying fuck about it. Fuck this. I’m keeping my 360 and picking up an Ouya.
